As an Escape Lounge Manager, it will be your challenge to grow turnover and profit while delivering innovative and high quality solutions, culinary excellence, and unforgettable, world-class customer experiences.

It’s about welcoming at least 600 guests each day between 3.30 am and 9.30pm. It’s about motivating and exciting a team of up to 18 colleagues. And it’s about searching out and generating annual revenues of up to $2m.

You’ll be involved in everything from initial recruiting and training, building relationships with external partners and suppliers, and ordering and controlling stock, through to making sure we meet all COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal, environmental and airport regulations.

You’ll also work closely with the UK Head of Retail, the US CEO and US Commercial VP, which means you’ll need a proven background in the high-end hospitality and service sectors, together with the confidence and credibility to influence decisions at all levels of business.

Deputy Managers

As Deputy Escape Lounge Manager, you’ll support both the manager and the rest of your team in delivering excellence when it comes to world class customer experiences. 

You’ll take a lead role in motivating and coaching the entire Lounge team, starting with recruiting and training, before moving onto ongoing development, with a clear focus on always putting the customer first.

Day to day, you’ll also monitor and report on your team of Lounge Agents, making sure that everyone follows the example you set when it comes to behavior, appearance and service delivery.

You’ll also have significant input into the infrastructure and operational changes that improve effectiveness and increase revenue, so you’ll need some experience of managing a similar customer focused business, ideally within a high-end hospitality or tourism environment. 

A commitment to performance, expertise in managing commercial budgets and relationships, and strong communication skills are all essential, and you’ll be the kind of leader and role model who can inspire a team to deliver brilliant results.
